As with blogs of any stripe, you'll have to wade through a lot of garbage, but there are gems, too.

Guinness & Poker, Tao Of Poker, and Up For Poker are probably the big three. There is much linkage from there.Julius_Goathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01265326822534167730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8838733.post-45335883070331983042007-07-25T02:01:00.000-04:002007-07-25T02:01:00.000-04:00Are there any good poker blogs out there, present ...Are there any good poker blogs out there, present company excluded? (Almost makes up for $24+2 tournament at 2 pm ET, where I was bounced when my flopped set of fours lost to a flopped set of eights. Ouch.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8838733.post-19059310394301175672007-07-14T15:21:00.000-04:002007-07-14T15:21:00.000-04:00I really need to play more Omaha and mixed games i...I really need to play more Omaha and mixed games in general-- partly because I get a little bored with Hold 'Em sometimes and partly because you can really pick people off for overplaying their hands, especially pre-flop. In my limited experience, I've found that it's easy to put people on AAxx or KKxx because that's the only holding that gets played aggressively pre-flop. So when you have one of those ace-killing hands, it's a golden opportunity to stack them.

Given your patient, nut-peddling style, I'm surprised it took you this long to get into Omaha, which seems naturally suited to you. In the past, I've been a little fearful of it, because it's the most popular form of poker in Europe and there are a lot of European poker players online. What's a good source to learn the basics? Super/System?

Anyway, surprised to hear you're even-money on the NL games, because it seems like you're sitting on a giant pile of cash every time I check in on you. Maybe I'm a good luck charm. Nice to have you back in the fold, regardless.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
