I really wasn't sure for two minutes and thirty seven seconds if this was the one about the traffic jam or the one where the people eat each other.

Oh my, this is going to be a good countdown, isn't it? Well done, fellow nerds!

This has to be the best film with a title sequence in Comic Sans ever made. It's only competition is Ernie Gehr's WATERFRONT FOLLIES. (The opening sequence of this is like WATERFRONT GNAWLIES.)

Let's hope the one with the traffic jam remains on tap, though I kind of doubt it.

Hmmm ... GERRY and TROUBLE EVERY DAY (not even a "pro" from me yet)

Another great film with credits in comic sans: Doillon's JUST ANYBODY. The fact that I can love movies with such horrible title-card fonts says a lot about how great JA and TED are. (And probably says more about how big of a dork I am.)

Actually, I understated. I looked it up and I'm upper-case CON on both films so far.

So then, for fun, I looked at my Crix Pix for all the CONs I've ever given ... likely no more. GHOST WORLD and O BROTHER WHERE ART THOU the only two I could even see as possible.

Wow, I'm stunned. I'm a major Denis fanboy and even I had no expectation of this landing in the Top 20. Must have been two or three people giving it tons of points, right? I definitely don't see this as the accumulation of a bunch of small votes.

This is really stunning. I wouldn't have predicted TED finishing in the top 50.

Both of the films so far received only three votes. But then there were only four films total that even received as many as 10 votes. The nature of the survey is such that passion counts for a lot—people who threw their full support behind one or two pictures made more of a difference on the whole than the people (and there were many) who gave everything 10 pts. across the board.
