HISTORY:
This is the ninth time the Coens have made the top 20, though they've never won—not even this year, when their movie won Best Picture (SPOILER!). In addition to the nominations noted below, they've placed 10th for The Big Lebowski (1998), 13th for Burn After Reading (2008), 9th for A Serious Man (2009), and 15th for True Grit (2010).
Gerwig has twice finished at #7, for Greenberg (2010) and Damsels in Distress (2012). Gandolfini's sole previous nod was noted in the nominations post below. Isaac and Nyong'o are new.
Frances Ha is Gerwig's first screenplay, but Baumbach, in addition to his nominations below, placed 10th for The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou (written with Wes Anderson) and 7th for Greenberg (2010).

So, Wolf wins every major category except best picture. This is probably very very close.
