Carruth placed 6th for Primer in 2004.
In addition to her "nominated" roles (see below), Blanchett placed 16th for Oscar and Lucinda (1997), 11th for Heaven (2002), and 17th in Supporting for Notes on a Scandal (2006). Ejiofor gets his fourth nod, having finished at #14 for Dirty Pretty Things (2003), at #17 in Supporting for Serenity (2005), and at #9 for Redbelt (2008). Hill placed 11th in the same category for Moneyball two years ago. Seydoux is new.
Jonze's screenplay for Where the Wild Things Are (written with Dave Eggers) didn't make the cut.
(To save you the trouble of looking, Before Sunset placed 3rd in 2004.)

I would've never imagined that Sally Hawkins would rank higher than Cate Blanchett. (Will she wind up with more points, too?)
Scarlett Johansson above Lea Seydoux? Madness!
Whoa. Thought BEFORE MIDNIGHT would finish at #2 at worst, with a decent shot at #1. WOLF really gathered steam late.
I should've 30-bombed "Please, Mr. Kennedy." No other scene last year provided even half as much pleasure.
