Dying to know where YOU THE LIVING came in overall. Two Skandie scenes (and lots of other awesomeness, of course) aren't enough to nudge it into the top 20?

Or even the top 30. It finished 32nd.

I'm so happy Vera Farmiga got a higher score than Anna Kendrick, who brought absolutely nothing to the movie, that I saw (and her crying scene was just pathetic).

I kind of hated You the Living (which surprised me, considering how much I liked Songs from the Second Floor), but that scene is fairly awesome. The rest of the movie essentially amounts to: "Life sucks. Here's some miserable people to prove it. Aren't they just hilarious?"

Kendrick's crying scene was a crying shame, although I thought her performance overall was fine. While it felt like just a more tightly racheted version of her Rocket Science performance, it served its intended purpose well.

I found Schneider's performance distracting. I was always aware he was doing an accent (I swear it went in and out) and my eye kept being amusedly drawn to what appeared to be a prosthetic belly. His breakdown scene was as much as crying shame as Kendrick's.

Nice to see Onetto here. She captured fragility so delicately.
