HISTORY:
The Coens (or just Joel, as they used to claim) previously placed 3rd for Fargo (1996), 10th for The Big Lebowski (1998), 5th for O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000), 3rd for The Man Who Wasn't There (2001), 2nd for No Country for Old Men (2007), 13th for Burn After Reading (2008), and 9th last year for A Serious Man. So this is their weakest finish ever in this category, save for the couple of films (Intolerable Cruelty, The Ladykillers) for which they didn't place at all.
The Hottest Woman Alive finished 16th in 2002 for Murderous Maids and 8th in 2004 for Fear and Trembling. The other actors are all new.
Requa & Ficarra placed 8th in 2003 for Bad Santa.

So glad to see Kathryn Hahn made the top 20. I threw her 18 points but assumed I'd be either alone or with one other voter. She was the most real person in the film but still maintained Brooks' hyper-romantic tone. There was a lot wrong with that movie, but Hahn was terrific.
Been admittedly too chicken to see 127 Hours, but this sympathetic doppelganger scene makes is more palatable in the mirror-mirror genre. Seen all the others! except Lourdes, which seems like a slog, but she is a talented cutie pie and uses the word directress.
