Malick's stats can be found in the "nominees" post below, as he's made the top five for every film he's released in the Skandie era. This is his weakest finish ever.
In addition to his "nominated" roles (see below), Phoenix placed 9th in Supporting for Gladiator (2000), 10th for Walk the Line (2005), and 11th for I'm Still Here (2010). Lawrence just missed a nomination last year, finishing at #6 in the lead category for Silver Linings Playbook (and she previously won for Winter's Bone; see below). Abdi and Seimetz are new.
Pegg & Wright's scripts for Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007) placed 16th and 20th, respectively. Also, Wright's solo script for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) placed 14th.
