Skandies: Guess the "nominees"

I'm gonna make this a bit more challenging this year and ask you guys to guess before the countdown even begins. Your goal is to best perpetual Skandie swami Ryan "MuseMalade" Wu—or last year's winner, Paul "I now run my own version of this survey" Clark—in predicting the top five in each of the Skandies' eight categories: Picture, Director, Actress, Actor, S. Actor, S. Actress, Screenplay, and (toughest of all) Scene. You also want to get as close to the correct order as possible, so you'll be ranking your predictions from 1 to 5.

Send your guesses to me at dangelo [who can be found at] panix.com, with the subject line "Beat MuseMalade." (Please do not post them in the comments.) Be sure to number each category from one to five, with one obviously being the film/actor/whatever you expect to win. I'll award one point for each "nominee" you get generally right (i.e. it did place in the top five), and five points for each "nominee" you get exactly right (including placement). (NOTE: You still get the one point if you place an actor in lead when (s)he wound up in supporting, or vice versa. But you have to correctly guess where they wound up to get the five points.) You need not be a Skandie voter to play, though the voters obviously have an edge in that they know what they tossed a bunch of points to. (Mark Pittillo, you are not eligible bud, and don't let yourself be bribed.) Experience an additional pang of regret daily for nearly three weeks as your picks fail to make the cut!

Entries must be received before I post #20, which will be sometime around noon Eastern time on Monday, 2 February.

Maybe I'm out of the loop here, but it seems like Best Scene would be greatly helped by more YouTube posts, or links to such. That could also encourage a voter to see an obscure film they passed up. I don't read a lot of other voter blogs, so for all I know this sort of thing is going on elsewhere in the Skandie community.
